The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marco closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Moreno is looking to improve his position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ground and pound from Marco.
Marco wants to get back to his feet.

Marco stands up and beckons Moreno to join him on the feet.

and Marco counters with a takedown into side control.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Moreno gets back to half guard.
Marco is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Marco thows a big elbow that misses, also allowing Moreno to regain full guard.
Marco tries to stand but Moreno is controlling from the bottom.
Marco is working Moreno over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Marco tries to free his leg and advance position but Moreno is retaining full guard.
Moreno is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Marco wants to stand and escape but instead Moreno has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Marco looks gassed!

Moreno working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Marco's head.

Moreno is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Marco is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Marco has escaped and now he's on top!

Moreno has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Marco should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Moreno has tightened it up now! Marco should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
