Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Cooper King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rodney Ang (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ang has chosen Long Way To The Top as his entrance music. Rodney Ang is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Alec Ball and Robert Douchet.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Ang. King does a little dance to reset his feet.
Ang forces King back against the cage and clinches.
Ang scores with a shoulder strike.
Ang misses with a punch on the inside.
Ang comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
It looks like Cooper King has been cut.
Ang working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
Ang lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down King.
Ang leaning against his opponent.
King looking to throw knees to the head but Ang is blocking nicely.

Ang manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.

Ang throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Ang presses King against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

Ang lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Ang scores with an uppercut up the middle.

Ang scores a nice knee to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.

Ang controlling the action here for a moment.
Oh King is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ang lands a nice elbow.
King seems to have got his legs back now.
Ang lands with a left to the head.
Ang creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through King's defenses.
Ang slows down the pace here.
Ang lands with a short shot to the head.

Ang has King pushed against the cage.
King is working for takedown but Ang is calmly controlling the position for now.
Ang lands a hook to the side of the head.
Ang throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Ang creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Ang gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Ang obliges.
Ang works on King's body with a couple of short punches.
Ang avoiding damage.

Ang with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
Ang taking a breather.
Ang unloads a knee to the mid-section.
Ang lands a shoulder strike.
Cooper King's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Ang takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
King can't break the clinch.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Ang gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Ang lands with a right to the head.
Ang stalling in the clinch.
Ang lands a nice uppercut.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rodney Ang dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Cooper King's cut.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
King ducks straight into an uppercut from Ang and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - King manages to regain guard straight away.
Ang wants to get up but he can't break King's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
King is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Ang frees his head nicely. Oh but King has switched to an armbar! Ang is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
