The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Marks steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Hugandkiss.

Amanda Hugandkiss has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tim Marks.

Hugandkiss throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.

The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Hugandkiss lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage.
Marks jumps guard but Hugandkiss stands there with Marks around his waist. Marks gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Hugandkiss digs a right hand into Marks's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Marks's gas tank.
Marks goes for a takedown attempt but Hugandkiss pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Hugandkiss changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Marks shoots for a double leg takedown but Hugandkiss sprawls well. He's pushed Marks's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Hugandkiss bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Marks's head.
Hugandkiss connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Amanda Hugandkiss seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Hugandkiss takes the fight into the clinch.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Marks has Hugandkiss pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Hugandkiss manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
Marks is looking to break free of the clinch but Hugandkiss has double underhooks.
Hugandkiss pushes Marks back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Hugandkiss finds Marks's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Marks flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Hugandkiss lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Marks will be OK.
