Jurgensen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Sgt Barry Sadler - Ballad of the Green Beret. Hoyt Jurgensen has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Hoyt Jurgensen!
The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, David Schapiro and Franklyn Lucas.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jurgensen misses with an uppercut.
Jurgensen misses with a jab, cross combination.
Jurgensen looks to throw the jab but DeLoria is out of range.
Jurgensen fakes high and swings low for a body shot but DeLoria manages to avoid it.
Jurgensen lands the left hand.
DeLoria slips a jab and a cross from Jurgensen.

DeLoria shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Jurgensen is trying to defend but DeLoria finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Jurgensen works his way to full guard. Good work.
Jurgensen wants to sweep but no luck.
DeLoria looking to pass the guard.
DeLoria with a flurry of punches that miss.
Jurgensen trying to control the position.
DeLoria missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
DeLoria working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
DeLoria wants to control from the top but Jurgensen keeps moving.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
DeLoria fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Jurgensen lands a jab-cross combination.
Jurgensen swings away with a body shot that misses
and DeLoria counters with a nice uppercut.
DeLoria takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
DeLoria bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Jurgensen's head backwards.
DeLoria cracks Jurgensen with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Hoyt Jurgensen is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
DeLoria smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jurgensen throws a right and a left that both miss.
DeLoria lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Jurgensen can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from DeLoria and Jurgensen drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by DeLoria.
