Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jukka Hilden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Olero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hilden's entrance music is Sandstorm. A fine choice. Olero is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Love me tender. Jack Olero will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hilden dodges the punch combination from Olero.

Hilden feints and as Olero raises his hands in defense, Hilden changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Hilden drops back looking for a leg! Olero is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Olero manages to kick Hilden off! Hilden jumps back into Olero's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Hilden wants to work for an arm triangle but Olero is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Hilden stops Olero from getting back to his feet.

Hilden decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up.

Hilden feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
