Prgomet has chosen Bad to the bone as his entrance music. Lane Pedersen has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Pedersen has taken the fight to the clinch.
Prgomet takes an elbow to the temple.

It looks like Hrvoje Prgomet has been cut.
Pedersen wants a takedown.

Pedersen breaks the clinch.
Prgomet tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Pedersen counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Pedersen stands up out of the half guard.
Prgomet throws a right and a left that both miss.

Pedersen darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Prgomet is trying to stand.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Pedersen in particular looking to stall.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Pedersen is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Prgomet is just riding it out for now. Pedersen eventually gives up the hold.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pedersen looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Prgomet trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Prgomet is trying to get back to his feet but can't.

Pedersen working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Prgomet turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Pedersen off and cradles Prgomet's limp body as Pedersen celebrates with his corner.
