Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between G Unit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rolo Pup (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pup has chosen Stone Cold as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, G Unit!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Rolo Pup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Unit is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Pup's half guard.
Pup trying to control from the bottom.
Unit really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Pup wants to improve his position but Unit is controlling well.

Unit wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pup keeps working.

Unit is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Pup wants to lay and pray for a moment but Unit keeps working.

Unit sneaks out the side door and pushes Pup away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Pup rushes Unit and presses him up against the cage.

Unit gets control of Pup's arms and successfully pulls guard. Unit will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Unit will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Unit trying to keep a closed guard but Pup is proving a slippery customer.
Pup with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
Pup postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Pup throws and elbow that misses. Unit uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Pup's guard. Nice move by Unit!
Pup is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Unit advances to half guard.

Unit seems to be working for a kimura but Pup defends the submission attempt.
Pup is trying to stand back up but Unit is controlling him

Unit decides to return to a standing position.
Unit with a poor takedown

and Pup counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Unit's guard now.

Pup thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Unit escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Pup gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Unit is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Unit pulls Pup in close to prevent any damage.
Pup wants to control from the top but Unit keeps moving.
Unit manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Pup manages to get himself to full guard.

Unit thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Unit slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Unit drops back, looking for a kneebar! Pup looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Pup looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Pup!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Pup tries to move to mount but Unit blocks the move with his legs.

Pup is trying to get an arm triangle but Unit is defending well.
Pup really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Unit. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Unit regains half guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Pup wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Unit uses the opportunity to regain full guard.
Unit bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Pup's guard.
Pup not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Unit drops back looking for a leg! Pup is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Pup manages to kick Unit off! Unit jumps back into Pup's guard.
Pup is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

Pup looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Unit postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

That was a close round but I would say that G Unit will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Unit is looking to control Pup's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Unit avoid being mounted?

Pup tries to stand but Unit is controlling from the bottom.

Pup drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Unit manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Pup has Unit in his guard.

Unit gets to his feet. Pup looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

and Pup counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.

Unit has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Pup can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Unit is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Pup defends well.

Unit working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Pup doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Pup manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Unit utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.

Rolo Pup has got the better of the ground game so far.

Pup stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Unit swivels though and keeps the full guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Unit manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Pup is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Pup tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The referee warns Pup that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

A close second round but Rolo Pup will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. And we move into the final round!



Unit closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Pup fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Unit on the side of the head.

Pup is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Unit is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Unit sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Unit has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pup is working away from the top position though.

Unit kicks off Pup and gets to his feet.
Pup fails with the takedown.
Unit misses with a takedown

and Pup counters with a shoot takedown. Unit fights it but they end up in guard.

Unit is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

Unit is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Pup is aware though and is defending well.

Unit wants to stand but Pup is controlling the position.
Pup with a flurry of punches that miss.
Pup stands and throws Unit's legs to the side, diving into side control.
Unit sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.

Pup is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Unit defends it well.
