The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
France lands with a straight right. Hendren didn't see that one coming.
It looks like Steven Hendren has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Hendren. France does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hendren tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but France swivels and escapes.
France lands a two punch combo.
Hendren fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Hendren looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steven Hendren. That's going to take a lot out of him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

France throws a leg kick which misses Hendren's front leg but catches the back leg as Hendren tries to avoid it.
France throws a shot to the body.
France drops Hendren with a beautiful combination! Hendren stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - France is looking for the KO!
France connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Hendren to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by France!
