The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yehudiah displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Gonzalez.
Gonzalez misses with a takedown attempt - Yehudiah sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Yehudiah throws a body kick that misses.
Yehudiah uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Gonzalez.
Yehudiah uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Gonzalez.
Gonzalez shoots in looking for a takedown. Yehudiah tries to sprawl out of it but Gonzalez keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Yehudiah manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Helio Gonzalez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Gonzalez takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Gonzalez shoots in for a takedown but Yehudiah shows good takedown defense.
Yehudiah thuds his shin into the meat of Gonzalez's side.

Gonzalez tries for a takedown but Yehudiah sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Yehudiah thumps Gonzalez with a low kick.
Gonzalez walks forward, straight into a front kick from Yehudiah.
Yehudiah tries a head kick but it misses.
Yehudiah connects with a solid leg kick.
Yehudiah lands with a thumping leg kick.
Gonzalez tries to keep at a distance but Yehudiah has taken the fight into the clinch.
Yehudiah lands an elbow inside that Gonzalez shrugs off.
Yehudiah lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Yehudiah creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Gonzalez's defenses.
Yehudiah misses with an elbow over the top.
Yehudiah lands a nice elbow.
Nice elbow from Yehudiah.
Gonzalez jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Yehudiah walks away with a smile on his face. Gonzalez gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Gonzalez takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Gonzalez is rocked!
Zagan Yehudiah is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Gonzalez stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Yehudiah.
Oh Gonzalez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Yehudiah moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Yehudiah thumps Gonzalez with a low kick.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Gonzalez. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Yehudiah scores with a push kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Yehudiah moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Yehudiah closes the distance and pushes Gonzalez back into the cage.
Gonzalez seems to have got his legs back now.
Gonzalez is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Yehudiah lands an elbow just above Gonzalez 's eye.
Yehudiah creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Gonzalez's defenses.
Gonzalez looking for a takedown.
Yehudiah comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.
With the fighters up against the cage, Yehudiah throws an elbow but misses.
Gonzalez is pressed against the cage. Yehudiah pushes back and unleashes a big elbow that really hurts Gonzalez! Two more big strikes from Yehudiah and Gonzalez crumples to the mat and taps out furiously due to the strikes!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Zagan Yehudiah!
