Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ken Kelly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyrel Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sackett has chosen Highway to Hell as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ken Kelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Tyrel Sackett!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kelly misses with a low kick.
A head kick misses from Sackett.
Kelly moves out of range as Sackett throws a body kick.
Kelly throws a series of punches but Sackett avoids them all with ease.
Kelly throws a looping overhand right but Sackett ducks down to avoid it.
A leg kick checked by Kelly.
Sackett jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Sackett is looking to clinch but Kelly is avoiding it.
Sackett fails in his attempt to clinch.
Kelly throws a hook to the side of Sackett's head but Sackett sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kelly swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Sackett throws a leg kick that misses.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kelly misses with a hook. Sackett ducked under it nicely.
Sackett throws a wild body kick that Kelly sees coming a mile off.
Kelly shoots for a double leg takedown but Sackett sprawls well. He's pushed Kelly's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kelly closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Sackett did well to prevent Kelly getting side control.
Sackett is staying active underneath Kelly, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Sackett lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Kelly!

Sackett wants to control but instead Kelly manages to regain half guard.
Sackett looks to land a strike but Kelly avoids it nicely and regains full guard.
Sackett throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kelly works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Sackett throws a strike but Kelly rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Sackett has control of Kelly's left arm, preventing Kelly from doing any damage.
Kelly tries to free his leg and advance position but Sackett is retaining full guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Kelly loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ken Kelly will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Kelly throws an overhand right that lands on Sackett's shoulder, as Sackett tries to avoid the shot.
Kelly takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Tyrel Sackett seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Kelly throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.

Kelly struggles to land a body shot inside as Sackett controls his hands.

Kelly is trying to trip Sackett. He has hold of a leg but Sackett is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Kelly persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Sackett pulls Kelly in close to prevent any damage.

Kelly wants to control from the top but Sackett keeps moving.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Kelly looking to sit in guard and control but Sackett gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Kelly has momentary wrist control but Sackett slips an elbow through the middle.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Tyrel Sackett showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Sackett feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kelly's calf.
Sackett connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Sackett moves out of range as Kelly throws a body kick.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Kelly checks a leg kick.
Kelly throws a lazy right hand but Sackett sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Kelly takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Sackett wants to slow Kelly down by chopping away at his legs.

Sackett throws an overhand right that lands on Kelly's shoulder, as Kelly tries to avoid the shot.
Kelly throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Sackett sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Sackett misses with a wild body shot.
Kelly lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.

Kelly stalks Sackett and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Sackett's face. Sackett staggers backwards, shaken.
Sackett throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Sackett connects with a high kick.
Kelly dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Kelly throws out a loose jab but Sackett uses good head movement to avoid it.
Kelly swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Sackett counters with a solid body kick.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Kelly misses with a hook.
Sackett throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Kelly keeps the fight on the outside.
Sackett throws a leg kick that misses.
Sackett plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Sackett.
Kelly throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

Sackett throws a shot from downtown. Kelly moves away and avoids it.
Sackett shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Kelly circles away from the clinch attempt.

and Kelly counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Kelly.
Kelly wants to pass the guard but Sackett is keeping the position.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Kelly accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kelly blocks a head kick by Sackett.
Kelly scores with a punch to the head.
Sackett tries to land a front kick but Kelly steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
A clash of legs there as Sackett blocks the low kick.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Sackett.
A telegraphed right hand from Sackett misses the target.
Kelly thows a body shot but no joy.
Sackett fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Kelly checks it well.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Sackett throws a head kick that lands with a deafening thwack! The crowd roars as Kelly stumbles backwards and falls to the mat. Sackett follows into mount!

Tyrel Sackett comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Sackett has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
