Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simo Kuassimo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ronnie Barnhardt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuassimo comes to the cage accompanied by Dejale Caer Todo El Peso. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuassimo tries a low kick but Barnhardt avoids it.
Kuassimo slaps away a takedown attempt from Barnhardt, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kuassimo throws a right and a left that Barnhardt avoids nicely.
Barnhardt takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Barnhardt throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Kuassimo lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Barnhardt circles away quickly and effectively.
Kuassimo lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

It looks like Ronnie Barnhardt has been cut.
Barnhardt changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Kuassimo tries to avoid it but Barnhardt manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Kuassimo to the ground. Kuassimo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Kuassimo throws a quick inside leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Kuassimo connects with a solid leg kick.
Barnhardt looks gassed!
Barnhardt misses with a looping right.
A punch combination from Kuassimo misses.
Barnhardt closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kuassimo circles away.
Simo Kuassimo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ronnie Barnhardt.
Barnhardt takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Kuassimo throws a right and a left that both miss.
Some wild striking there from Kuassimo.
Kuassimo chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Kuassimo lands with a big left! Barnhardt is wobbled badly! Kuassimo comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Barnhardt to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
