The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Kronic shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kronic was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Hardt is looking to improve his position but Kronic isn't that keen on the idea.

Kronic has control of Hardt's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Hardt regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Hardt is looking to regain full guard. He's left an arm up in the air though and Kronic has latched onto it... Big trouble! Kronic pivots for an armbar - it's in tight and it Hardt is tapping in no time flat! Great counter grappling there from Kronic!
