The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Sten.
Sten throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
Sten throws a push kick but Ferreira slaps the foot to one side.
Sten thows a body shot but no joy.
A thudding body kick lands there by Sten!
Sten buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Ferreira checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Ferreira connects with a right hand. Sten shakes it off.
Ferreira takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.

Sten fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Ferreira checks it well.

Sten tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ferreira paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Sten throws a hook but Ferreira avoids it easily.

Sten pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Sten does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Sten misses with a body kick.

and Sten counters with a nice low kick that buckles Ferreira's knee momentarily.
Sten thows a leg kick but Ferreira checks it
and Ferreira counters with a nice uppercut.
A head kick from Sten lands but Ferreira takes it in his stride.
Sten scores with a leg kick.
Sten clinches but Ferreira breaks the clinch
and Ferreira counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Sten throws a push kick but Ferreira slaps the foot to one side.
Ferreira is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
A nice leg kick lands there from Sten.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

and Ferreira counters with a straight right hand.

and Ferreira counters with a nice leg kick.

and Sten takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

and Ferreira counters with a big head kick but Sten shrugs it off.
Ferreira looks to land a left hand but Sten moved out of range nicely.

and Ferreira counters with a right hand to the body.
Sten fakes the leg kick and cracks Ferreira in the body.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Sten lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Ferreira has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Ferreira and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and Ferreira cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Ferreira needs to keep his hands up - Sten had a free shot at his head there.
Ferreira ducks right into an uppercut from Sten.
A cross from Sten lands.
Sten misses with a body punch
and Ferreira counters with a head kick. That will keep Sten thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

Sten is rocked!
Ferreira feints a jab and as Sten dips his head, Ferreira unleashes a brutal head kick that catches Sten right on the jaw! Timbeeer! Sten falls backwards in slow motion, only propped up by the cage! Ferreira smiles a psychotic smile as he stares down his unconscious opponent. That is a scary man.
