Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marek Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pawel Kulak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kulak tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hunter paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hunter really is a fat lump.
Hunter throws a low kick, looking for Kulak's leg but Kulak calmly moves out of range.
Hunter cracks Kulak with an open hand slap.
Kulak throws a shot to the body.
Marek Hunter seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hunter scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

Hunter manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Kulak manages to get himself to full guard.

Kulak really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hunter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Hunter has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kulak has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Hunter is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
