Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Iron Ispa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jimmy Brody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brody comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Cracks (Flux Pavilion Remix) by Freestylers kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Jimmy Brody will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Iron Ispa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jimmy Brody!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Roosa Järviläinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ispa keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Brody blocks a jab.
Brody lands with a nice combination. Ispa backs away looking to recover.
Brody throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ispa was covering up waiting for the punch and Brody finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Ispa wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
Brody with a flurry of punches that miss.
Brody throws a strike but Ispa rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Ispa got a little sloppy there for a moment and Brody has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Ispa has managed to get both his arms back between Brody's legs - danger averted.

Ispa is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Ispa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brody on the ground.
Brody throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That was a close round but I would say that Iron Ispa will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Ispa has closed the distance and engaged Brody in a clinch.
Ispa's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Iron Ispa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ispa throws a head kick but Brody moves out of range.
Ispa takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.

Brody shoots for a takedown but Ispa saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Brody misses with a head shot. Ispa uses the momentum to regain guard.
Ispa pushes Brody off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Brody lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Ispa throws a hook but Brody avoids it easily.
Brody shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Ispa but Ispa pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Brody takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Brody dives in and grabs Ispa's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ispa pushes down on Brody's head and hops out.

Brody lands with a shot to the body.
Ispa is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ispa, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
