Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between tyler jackman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Shaun Swagger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Swagger has chosen Amazing as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
jackman throws a sloppy head kick and Swagger moves out of range easily.
jackman keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
jackman circles away from the clinch attempt.
jackman looks to land a left hand but Swagger moved out of range nicely.
jackman tries to clinch there but Swagger circles away.
jackman dives in and grabs Swagger's left leg, looking for a takedown. Swagger pushes down on jackman's head and hops out.

jackman wants to control but Swagger is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Swagger decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

jackman moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Swagger has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. jackman is working away from the top position though.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Swagger is trying to defend against the ground and pound but jackman scores with a couple of nice shots.

jackman is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Swagger sees it coming and defends easily.
Swagger makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Swagger.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

Swagger has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but jackman can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Shaun Swagger showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
