The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Filatov staying out of range there.

Filatov closes the distance and pushes Wigenfors back into the cage.

Filatov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Filatov blocks a leg kick.
Filatov tries to clinch up but Wigenfors circles away and keeps his distance.
Robert Wigenfors seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Filatov shoots in looking for a takedown. Wigenfors tries to sprawl out of it but Filatov keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Wigenfors manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Filatov has managed to clinch.
Filatov is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Filatov tries for a takedown. No joy.
Robert Wigenfors has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Slava Filatov.

Filatov breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

It looks like Slava Filatov has been cut.
A looping hook to the body misses from Wigenfors. Filatov does a little dance to reset his feet.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Filatov misses with some ground and pound and Wigenfors recovers position to half guard.

Let's hope that Filatov has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Filatov stalling away here and it's allowed Wigenfors to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Filatov trying to control the position from guard on top but Wigenfors is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Filatov moves away from the strike by Wigenfors.
Wigenfors circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wigenfors cracks Filatov with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Filatov fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Wigenfors feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Filatov sprawling to the canvas! Filatov rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Wigenfors finish him?!

That has opened up Slava Filatov's cut even more.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Wigenfors throws a series of punches but Filatov avoids them all with ease.
Robert Wigenfors is winning the standup battle so far.
Wigenfors circles and sees the opportunity to plant his feet and throw a really nice straight left hand that drops Filatov to the canvas! Filatov doesn't know where he is but he's trying to survive - Wigenfors keeps piling on the pressure and forces the referee to step in! This one is aaaaaall over!
