almeida jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
It looks like daniel micheals has been cut.
micheals displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as almeida throws out the jab.
almeida lands a nice looking body shot.
micheals looks gassed!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
almeida cracks micheals with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. almeida has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning micheals to stand back up!
micheals is rocked!
almeida shoots in for a takedown. He's got it... He's hoisted his opponent over his head and is carrying him over to the other end of the mat. The crowd roars in approval and almeida slams his opponent to the mat. OH, that is naaaaaasty! He's out! almeida lands a punch to his unconscious victim for good measure before the ref has time to call the fight.
