Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between CJ Eagen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dimitrij Markus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Markus has chosen Billy Talent- Rusted from the Rain as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

No joy there for Eagen, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Markus shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Eagen pinned against the cage. Eagen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Eagen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Markus has his foot on Eagen's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Eagen works his way back into a safe position though.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to CJ Eagen.
