Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rufus Johnson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Juan Carlos Ortega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Fight Music - D12. Rufus Johnson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Juan Carlos Ortega!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ortega lands a jab to Johnson's midsection.
Johnson drives through with a takedown into guard.
Ortega has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Johnson can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ortega has his foot on Johnson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Johnson works his way back into a safe position though.
Johnson drops back looking for a leg! Ortega is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Ortega manages to kick Johnson off! Johnson jumps back into Ortega's guard.
Ortega keeping moving, preventing Johnson from controlling successfully.
Ortega is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Ortega wants to sweep here but Johnson controlling him for the moment.
Johnson stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ortega swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ortega is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Johnson wants to control from the top but Ortega keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Ortega shoots in for a takedown but Johnson shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Ortega slips a straight right by Johnson.
Ortega walks into a stiff left hand from Johnson.
Ortega has a takedown stuffed.
Ortega misses with a low kick.
Johnson darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Johnson stands up and beckons Ortega to join him on the feet.
Ortega throws a body kick that misses.
Johnson throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Johnson has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Ortega.
Johnson lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Ortega darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Ortega ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Ortega slips a jab and a cross from Johnson.
Johnson takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt.
Johnson stuffs the takedown.
Rufus Johnson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Juan Carlos Ortega.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Ortega fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ortega tries for a takedown but Johnson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Ortega throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ortega looks gassed!
Johnson drops Ortega with a naaaaasty hook - Ortega is in real trouble here! Johnson dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
