Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Selph Throttle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A big left from Throttle misses.
Throttle throws a looping overhand right but Tyson ducks down to avoid it.

Throttle lands a big uppercut and Tyson crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Tyson looks OK. Throttle waves Tyson back to his feet!

Throttle is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Throttle throws a lazy right hand but Tyson sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Tyson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Throttle.
Throttle will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Throttle changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.

Tyson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Throttle's waist but Throttle gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tyson off to one side.
Tyson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Throttle throws a shot from downtown. Tyson moves away and avoids it.
Tyson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Throttle throws out the jab.

Throttle throws a hook but Tyson blocks it.

Tyson looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Tyson prevents Throttle from standing back up.

Tyson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Throttle has time to react.
Throttle connects with a single shot there.
Tyson looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Throttle is fending him off so far but Tyson persists. Nope, Throttle circles away and we're back to standing.

Throttle is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Tyson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Throttle's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Throttle walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Tyson steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Throttle.
Throttle misses with a straight left.
Tyson looks to land a combination but Throttle avoids it well.
Throttle is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tyson.
A jab lands there for Tyson.
Tyson ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Tyson checks a leg kick.

Throttle misses with a body punch
and Tyson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Tyson connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Throttle momentarily.
Throttle takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Tyson throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Throttle.
Tyson digs a good body shot into Throttle's ribs.

Throttle gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Tyson to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Tyson stands up from Throttle's guard - Tyson perhaps looking for a knockout.
Selph Throttle seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Tyson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.

Tyson slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
