And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ren Mimura, Yukihiro Shimada and Kenichi Hosakawa.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barnett thumps Silva with a low kick.
Silva throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Barnett tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Silva was well out of range. Poor timing from Barnett.
Silva fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Barnett throws a sloppy head kick and Silva moves out of range easily.
Silva keeps the fight on the outside.
Barnett scores with a leg kick.
Barnett tries to clinch up.
Barnett throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Silva stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Silva looks gassed!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Barnett lands a big head kick that sends Silva tumbling to the mat! Barnett takes a step backwards and waves Silva back to his feet - he wants the finish!
It looks like Paulo Cesar Silva has been cut.
Barnett fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Silva square on the jaw! Damn, Silva is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Mirko Barnett!
