Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between gonzo ariyama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricardo Nalaban (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). ariyama comes into the arena with carribean conection blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Luis Engracia and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A kick lands to the mid section there for ariyama.
ariyama moves in looking to clinch but Nalaban pushes him off.
Nalaban misses with the combination.
ariyama shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

ariyama postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
ariyama connects with a couple of short punches.
ariyama stands up and waves to Nalaban to follow him.
Nalaban lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
It looks like gonzo ariyama has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Nalaban rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but ariyama moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Nalaban lands a nice hook to ariyama's body. ariyama takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Nalaban lands with a nice combination. ariyama backs away looking to recover.
Nalaban connects with a body shot.
ariyama is breathing heavily.
Nalaban lands a glancing blow to the side of ariyama's head.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nalaban drops ariyama with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but ariyama looks back up at him and smiles so Nalaban waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
ariyama is rocked!

Oh ariyama is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Nalaban feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends ariyama sprawling to the canvas! ariyama rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Nalaban finish him?!
Nalaban darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! ariyama's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles Nalaban before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ricardo Nalaban!
