Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jared Jericho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and PJ Rawson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). PJ Rawson is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rawson gets caught flat footed, as Jericho shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Jericho won't allow Rawson to sweep him here.
Jericho stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rawson swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Rawson not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Rawson pulls Jericho in close to prevent any damage.
Jericho content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Jericho wants to control from the top but Rawson keeps moving.

Jericho postures up in Rawson's guard and throws a big left but Rawson blocks it.

Jericho drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Rawson dives on top into guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Jericho is on top in guard.

Jericho postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Rawson is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Jericho, into his guard.

Jericho throws his legs up looking for a submission but Rawson uses it to pass to side control.

Rawson is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Jericho knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Rawson throws a strike aimed at the side of Jericho's head but Jericho avoids it well.
Jericho might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Jericho is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Rawson wants to control but Jericho is keeping him busy.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Rawson tries to clinch but Jericho moves out of range.

Rawson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Jerichos head.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Rawson.

Rawson's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Jericho shoots in for a double leg but Rawson sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Rawson has closed the distance and engaged Jericho in a clinch.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Rawson.
Rawson lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
Jericho jumps guard but Rawson stands there with Jericho around his waist. Jericho gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Jericho tries to break the clinch but Rawson is controlling the position.

Rawson goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Jericho seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Rawson shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Jericho is backing up but Rawson catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Jericho covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Rawson Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
