The crowd seem to be enjoying Karvakorva's choice of entrance music: Korn - Falling Away From Me . Jukkis Karvakorva is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amongero thows a left - swing and a miss!
Amongero throws a looping overhand right but Karvakorva ducks down to avoid it.
Karvakorva tries to close the distance and clinch up but Amongero swats him away and circles back towards the center.
The fight stays on the outside here - Karvakorva looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Karvakorva misses with the combination.
Karvakorva is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Karvakorva closes the distance and clinches.
Amongero is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Karvakorva pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Amongero tries for a takedown but Karvakorva manages to get underhooks.

Karvakorva wants the takedown. Amongero is fighting it off but Karvakorva persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Amongero's guard against the cage.

Karvakorva seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Amongero does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Karvakorva slips a nice elbow through Amongero's hands, connecting with Amongero's forehead.

Amongero tries to get to full guard but Karvakorva has control of the leg.
Karvakorva is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.

Karvakorva seems to be looking for submissions.
Karvakorva looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Amongero with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Amongero is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Karvakorva scores with a couple of nice shots.

Karvakorva stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Amongero to get to his feet.
Amongero chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Karvakorva can pounce on him.
Karvakorva dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Amongero. That did some damage!

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Karvakorva is on top in guard.

Amongero is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Karvakorva scores with a couple of nice shots.
Amongero knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Karvakorva on the ground.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Karvakorva looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Karvakorva is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Amongero!

Amongero takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Karvakorva landing strikes from the mount and Amongero is in trouble!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Karvakorva lands a heavy elbow.
Karvakorva working away from the top, dropping strikes.
Karvakorva lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Karvakorva has Amongero up against the cage in a clinch.
Karvakorva lands an elbow inside.
Karvakorva gets underhooks to prevent Amongero's takedown attempt.

Karvakorva throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Roberto Amongero is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Karvakorva shoots for a double leg takedown but Amongero sprawls well. He's pushed Karvakorva's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Amongero catches Karvakorva with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Amongero tries for a takedown but Karvakorva circles away easily
and Karvakorva counters with a stiff right hand.
Amongero is rocked!
Karvakorva lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Amongero crumples to the floor! Karvakorva milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
