Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beast Mode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vik Baeng (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mode comes to the cage accompanied by i wish. Baeng has chosen UGK - Wood Wheel as his entrance music. Beast Mode has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mode closes this distance looking for a takedown but Baeng circles away.

Mode could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Baeng cracks Mode with an uppercut from hell and Mode crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Baeng's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Baeng would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Baeng really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mode. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mode takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Mode throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Baeng's waist but Baeng gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mode off to one side.
Vik Baeng seems to be getting the better of the standup.
