Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Randy Ripheart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and charlie bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). charlie bishop will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
bishop fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Ripheart bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ripheart scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at bishop to see if he's OK.
Ripheart misses with an attempted head punch from side control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
