The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lorenzo's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Lorenzo duly obliges.
Jimenez punishes Lorenzo's body with a nice straight punch.
Jimenez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Lorenzo.
Jimenez slaps away a takedown attempt from Lorenzo, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Jimenez waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lorenzo.
Jimenez fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lorenzo manages to avoid it.
Lorenzo dodges the punch combination from Jimenez.
Jimenez scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Jimenez throws an overhand right that lands on Lorenzo's shoulder, as Lorenzo tries to avoid the shot.
Lorenzo tries to clinch up but Jimenez circles away and keeps his distance.

Jimenez is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

It looks like Sonny Lorenzo has been cut.
Jimenez jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Jimenez jabs Lorenzo right on the nose. Lorenzo blinks but takes it well.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Jimenez throws a right and a left that both miss.
Horrible takedown by Lorenzo or perhaps it was just good defense by Jimenez which made him look bad.

Lorenzo seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Jimenez shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Lorenzo is backing up but Jimenez catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Lorenzo covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Jimenez Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
