PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bob Kirk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Quinton Evans (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kirk comes to the ring accompanied by Can't Be Touched- Roy Jones. Quinton Evans told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirk shoots in but no luck this time.

Evans shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Kirk is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Kirk not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Evans preventing the sweep.
Kirk bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Evans's guard.
Kirk passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Kirk is trying to get an arm triangle but Evans is defending well.

Kirk goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Evans has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kirk but great work by Evans.
Kirk gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!
Evans lands a nice shot to the head.
Kirk is working to get back to half guard.

Evans takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Kirk is trying desperately to improve position.

It looks like Bob Kirk has been cut.

Kirk can't escape the position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Evans postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Kirk badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Evans around the waist but Evans pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Evans is the winner by TKO! Evans jumps onto the ropes and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
