The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ekenedilichukwu throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Ekenedilichukwu connects with a looping right hand.
Madang closes this distance looking for a takedown but Ekenedilichukwu circles away.
Ekenedilichukwu lands a left and a right that send Madang crashing to the mat, dazed. Ekenedilichukwu thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Madang is rocked!
It looks like Matane Madang has been cut.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Madang tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Madang is breathing heavily.
Ekenedilichukwu has closed the distance and engaged Madang in a clinch.
Ekenedilichukwu's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
