The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mackey looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

Goldberg shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.

Mackey has his foot on Goldberg's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Goldberg works his way back into a safe position though.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Mackey could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Mackey tries to buck Goldberg off but Goldberg is having none of it.

Goldberg creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Mackey sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

You can see the frustration on Mackey's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Mackey's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.
The referee warns Mackey that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Goldberg cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Goldberg postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Mackey badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Goldberg around the waist but Goldberg pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Goldberg is the winner by TKO! Goldberg jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
