Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Burton looks to land a right hand but Maya moved out of range.
Burton looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Burton digs a good body shot into Maya's ribs.
Maya walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
Maya shoots in but Burton avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Burton darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

It looks like Ra Maya has been cut.
Burton looks to land a left hand but Maya moved out of range nicely.

Burton gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Maya to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Burton is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Maya defends well.

Maya drops back looking for a leg! Burton is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Burton manages to kick Maya off! Maya jumps back into Burton's guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Burton connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Maya momentarily.
Burton stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Burton wants it to stay on the feet.

Burton misses with a straight left.
Maya shoots in looking for a takedown. Burton tries to sprawl out of it but Maya keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Burton manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Jack Burton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ra Maya.

Burton leaves Maya with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Maya shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Burton but Burton pushes him off and we're back to square one.

Jack Burton is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Burton lands with an uppercut that bounces Maya off the cage and back into rage.
Burton scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
Burton connects with a single shot there.
Maya shoots in for a takedown but Burton shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Burton throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Maya moves forwards but Burton connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Burton will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Burton throws a hook but Maya blocks it.
Burton is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

Maya shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Maya is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Burton misses with a looping right.
Burton closes the distance and lands a one-two.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Burton throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Burton misses with a hook. Maya ducked under it nicely.
Burton works over Maya's head and body with a nice combination.
Burton cracks Maya with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Maya fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Burton lands a nice looking body shot.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Maya shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Burton defends it nicely.
A jab from Burton finds it's way through Maya's defenses.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

Maya shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Burton but Burton pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Burton throws a hook but Maya blocks it.
Maya takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Ra Maya is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Burton swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Maya moves out of range as Burton strikes.

Maya looks for a takedown but Burton sprawls well.
Maya takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Maya uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Burton.
Burton slaps away a takedown attempt from Maya, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Maya shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Burton as he avoids it easily.
Maya shoots for a takedown but Burton saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Burton throws a good cross that connects.
Burton connects with a looping right hand.
Nice straight punches there by Burton. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Burton.
Burton lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.

Maya is rocked!
Maya shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Burton pinned against the cage. Burton gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Maya is still on wobbly legs! Can Burton finish him?
Burton drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Maya right on the button. Maya goes down! Burton follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Burton gets the win via TKO!
