Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Lukens (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Clarence Thomas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Felipe Paraventi and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Thomas waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lukens.
Thomas takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Thomas throws a series of punches but Lukens moves out of range.
Lukens wants to clinch up but Thomas keeps it at a distance.

Lukens clinches up with Thomas and pushes him back against the cage.
Lukens just leaning against Thomas, taking a breather.
Thomas tries to circle away but Lukens has him pinned against the cage.

Lukens pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Lukens tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Thomas paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Thomas looks to throw the jab but Lukens is out of range.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Thomas takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Lukens goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Thomas misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lukens misses with a double jab
and Thomas counters with a stiff right hand.
Lukens wants to clinch.
Lukens looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Thomas is fending him off so far but Lukens persists. Nope, Thomas circles away and we're back to standing.
Thomas thows a body shot but no joy.
Nice shot lands for Thomas.

It looks like Johnny Lukens has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Lukens moves into the clinch successfully.
Thomas is looking to break free of the clinch but Lukens has double underhooks.
Lukens lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
Knees in the clinch landing for Lukens.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Thomas pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Lukens gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Lukens ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Lukens no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lukens looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!

Lukens is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Thomas defends well.
Thomas wants to get up but he can't break Lukens's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Lukens is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Thomas frees his head nicely. Oh but Lukens has switched to an armbar! Thomas is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
