Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silvano Assunicao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Silvano Assunicao told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Assunicao throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Miller's waist but Miller gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Assunicao off to one side.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Assunicao looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Miller is fending him off so far but Assunicao persists. Nope, Miller circles away and we're back to standing.
Assunicao changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Miller tries to avoid it but Assunicao manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Miller to the ground. Miller escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Assunicao uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Miller.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Miller blocks a low kick nicely.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Miller lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Assunicao has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Assunicao and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
