Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Quinton Concrete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Al Rossi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters really staring eachother down here, as Al Rossi enters the cage!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Quinton Concrete!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Al Rossi!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Concrete tries to close the distance and clinch up but Rossi swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Concrete doesn't manage to clinch there - Rossi circles away.

Rossi is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Concrete is defending well for now.
Concrete has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Rossi is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
The referee is keeping an eye on Rossi - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Rossi pushes off an throws an elbow but Concrete leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Rossi just misses with a elbow thrown towards Concrete's brow.

Rossi tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Concrete avoids it.

Rossi unloads a knee to the mid-section. Concrete lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Concrete is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Rossi letting Concrete take a breather here.
Rossi pushes off an throws an elbow but Concrete leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
Rossi is pressed up against the cage. Concrete has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rossi down to the mat. Rossi avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Quinton Concrete. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Concrete moves forwards but Rossi connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Concrete takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Rossi throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.
Concrete thows a body shot but no joy.
Concrete takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

Concrete closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rossi to the mat! Rossi manages to get full guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Concrete drops back looking for a leg! Rossi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Rossi manages to kick Concrete off! Concrete jumps back into Rossi's guard.

Concrete has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Rossi is proving hard to escape from.

Rossi keeping moving, preventing Concrete from controlling successfully.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Concrete gets to his feet. Rossi looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Rossi missing with a left hand there. Concrete was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Rossi tries to clinch but fails miserably

and Concrete counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Rossi!
Concrete tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Concrete with shots to the head and body - Rossi looks very uncomfortable down there.
Concrete wants to control the pace but Rossi is squirming around nicely.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Concrete scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Rossi?
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Al Rossi dominated that round.

Concrete avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Rossi attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Rossi throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Concrete.
Rossi tries to land a front kick but Concrete steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Concrete fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Concrete is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rossi sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Rossi swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

Concrete feints and as Rossi raises his hands in defense, Concrete changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Concrete is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.

Concrete trying to control but Rossi is working from the bottom.
Concrete works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Concrete in particular looking to stall.

Concrete wants to work for an arm triangle but Rossi is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Rossi really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Concrete. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
