The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Renaud uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Nuttall.

Renaud moves into the clinch.
Renaud with an attempt at a knee that misses.
Nuttall wants a takedown.
Renaud throws a knee to the head but misses.
Nuttall being controlled against the cage.
Renaud prevents the takedown attempt.
Nuttall tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Renaud just stands there and leans against the cage.
Matthieu Renaud has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mike Nuttall.
Renaud stops a takedown attempt from Nuttall.
Renaud lands an elbow that stopped Nuttall in his tracks for a moment.

It looks like Mike Nuttall has been cut.
Nuttall has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Renaud is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows.
Renaud comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Renaud has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Nuttall - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Renaud, and another! Nuttall is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
