The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Chris Edwards and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Salmoni circles away from the clinch attempt.
Salmoni tries for a takedown but Evans sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Salmoni decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Evans wants to control but Salmoni is keeping busy.
Salmoni is working for a submission of some sort.
Salmoni is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Salmoni is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Evans doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Salmoni.
Evans keeping control of the leg, stopping his opponent passing to mount.

Salmoni trying to pass the guard but Evans defending well.
Evans wants to control but Salmoni is keeping busy.
Salmoni maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Evans could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Salmoni has cracked it and Evans is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Salmoni!
