PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between El Chihuahua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guilherme Cunha (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chihuahua comes to the cage accompanied by Cypress Hill - Rise Up. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chihuahua throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Cunha stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Chihuahua misses with a hook. Cunha ducked under it nicely.
Chihuahua stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Guilherme Cunha seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chihuahua jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Chihuahua drops Cunha with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Cunha looks back up at him and smiles so Chihuahua waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Cunha is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Chihuahua is just riding it out for now. Cunha eventually gives up the hold.
