Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Pedro Mantiega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexi Fedor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mantiega comes to the cage accompanied by Gimme Shelter. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mantiega swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
A punch lands to the side of Fedor 's head but he takes it in his stride.

It looks like Alexi Fedor has been cut.

Fedor clinches up with Mantiega and pushes him back against the cage.
Mantiega swings wildly with an uppercut but Fedor uses good head movement to avoid it.

Mantiega's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Fedor tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Fedor looks to land a right hand but Mantiega moved out of range.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Mantiega.
Mantiega looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Mantiega throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Mantiega throws a head kick that Fedor semi-blocks.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fedor throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Fedor on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Mantiega throws an overhand right that lands on Fedor's shoulder, as Fedor tries to avoid the shot.
Mantiega lands with a slapping head kick.

That has opened up Alexi Fedor's cut even more.

Fedor pushes Mantiega up against the cage in a clinch.

The cut above Alexi Fedor's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

Fedor looks gassed!
Mantiega throws the left hand but Fedor avoids the punch easily.
Mantiega throws a push kick but Fedor slaps the foot to one side.
Mantiega throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Fedor.
Mantiega buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Fedor blocks a head kick by Mantiega.
Danga de danga de dang - Mantiega scores with a four punch combination!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A nice inside leg kick there by Mantiega. That's going to slow Fedor down.
Fedor looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Alexi Fedor's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
Fedor steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Mantiega. That one must have hurt.
Mantiega lands with a nice body kick.
Mantiega feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Fedor's calf.

Mantiega lands a left and a right that send Fedor crashing to the mat, dazed. Mantiega thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Alexi Fedor's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Pedro Mantiega!
