PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Lando Pineta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Hammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pineta comes into the arena with star wars theme blaring out of the sound system. Lando Pineta looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pineta shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.
Hammer looks for a takedown but Pineta sprawls well.
Pineta shoots in looking for a takedown. Hammer tries to sprawl out of it but Pineta keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Hammer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Hammer feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Lando Pineta.
