PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mason Dixon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Sorensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sorensen is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: My baby takes the morning train. Mason Dixon has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jon Sorensen!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Leandro Rodrigues and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sorensen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Dixon as he avoids it easily.

and Dixon connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Oh but Dixon is tightening it up a little... Sorensen has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Sorensen reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Sorensen taps out! nice BJJ there by Dixon!
