PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rogerio Gracie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jameson Hinner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gracie comes into the arena with Exhibit C by Jay Electronica blaring out of the sound system. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hinner lands a right hook to the body.

Gracie feints and as Hinner raises his hands in defense, Gracie changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hinner tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Gracie throwing strikes from guard but Hinner blocks nicely.
Gracie trying to control the position from guard on top but Hinner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Gracie wants to stand but Hinner is controlling his posture from full guard.
Gracie trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Hinner should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Hinner wants to stand and escape but Gracie is having none of it.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Gracie is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Hinner.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Gracie.
Gracie looks for a takedown but Hinner sprawls well.
Gracie is breathing heavily.

The fight stays on the outside here - Hinner looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Hinner works the jab nicely.
Hinner closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Gracie out cold! Gracie corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
