The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Left hook, right uppercut from Shilt.
Shilt throws a series of punches but Pippen moves out of range.
Nice body kick there by Shilt.
Shilt shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Pippen is trying to defend but Shilt finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Pippen has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Shilt. Oh but Pippen has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Shilt goes limp - he's gone! Pippen jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
