Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between vanka vstanka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wiener Frampton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). vanka vstanka has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, vanka vstanka!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wiener Frampton!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

vstanka has closed the distance and engaged Frampton in a clinch.
vstanka tries to pull guard but Frampton holds him up against the cage and eventually vstanka drops back down to his feet.
vstanka fails to pull guard.
vstanka tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Frampton just stands there and leans against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for vanka vstanka. That's going to take a lot out of him.
vstanka goes for a takedown in the clinch but Frampton prevents it.

Frampton pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
vstanka fails to pull the fight into his guard.

vstanka jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Frampton walks away with a smile on his face. vstanka gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

vstanka shoots for a takedown but Frampton saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

vstanka throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Frampton was covering up waiting for the punch and vstanka finishes the takedown easily into guard.

vstanka drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and vstanka jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Frampton can do anything to dispel that myth.

vstanka has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Frampton is working away from the top position though.

vstanka is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Frampton pulls his head out easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Frampton thows a huge punch but vstanka dodges it nicely.

The fighters are battling for position here. vstanka manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Frampton lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Frampton really doesn't want to stay on the ground with vstanka. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

vstanka is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Frampton is aware though and is defending well.

Frampton got a little sloppy there for a moment and vstanka has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Frampton has managed to get both his arms back between vstanka's legs - danger averted.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Frampton accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
vstanka will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

vstanka is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Frampton is looking to escape.

Frampton looks like he's trying to stand up.

vstanka is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Frampton has managed to free his arm - good work.

vstanka is working for a kimura but Frampton is defending it quite comfortably.

vstanka is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
vstanka prevents Frampton from standing back up.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

vstanka is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Frampton is just riding it out for now. vstanka eventually gives up the hold.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that vanka vstanka will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

vstanka escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Frampton gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Frampton postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.

Frampton must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

vstanka has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Frampton doesn't defend quickly enough and vstanka has managed to lock this one up! Can Frampton escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to vstanka on a fantastic submission victory.
