Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Harry Kalas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junichi Watanabe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kalas comes to the cage accompanied by I Abstain, Converge. Watanabe has chosen "One Thing Leads to Another" by The Fixx as his entrance music. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Harry Kalas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

9 - 3 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Junichi Watanabe!
The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Dmitry Maklakov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watanabe fails to land the takedown.
Watanabe blocks a head kick by Kalas.
Kalas throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Kalas moves forwards but Watanabe connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Kalas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Watanabe's waist but Watanabe gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kalas off to one side.
Kalas closes the distance and clinches.

Kalas lands a body punch in the clinch.
Kalas connects with a nasty looking knee right to Watanabe's face.
Watanabe fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

Watanabe has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Kalas is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Kalas.

Kalas is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Watanabe looks gassed!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Kalas is trying to drag Watanabe to the mat but Watanabe just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Watanabe wants to control but Kalas postures up.
Kalas tries to move to mount but Watanabe blocks the move with his legs.
Watanabe is trying to get back to half guard.

Kalas cracks Watanabe with an elbow. That is naaassty.
Watanabe is rocked!
Kalas scores with punches from side control.
Watanabe is still in real trouble! Can Kalas finish him?
Kalas lands a strong strike to the head of Watanabe. That's dazed him! Kalas looking to finish here. Watanabe is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Kalas lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
