The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirkebom fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hurt avoids it really well and circles away.
Hurt stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Hurt wants it to stay on the feet.
Kirkebom is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Hurt as Kirkebom shoots in.

and Hurt decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Kirkebom's guard.
Hurt stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Kirkebom swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Hurt has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Kirkebom off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

and Kirkebom counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Hurt!
Hurt tries to reverse the position but Kirkebom maintains control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

That was a close second round but I would say that Oddis Kirkebom will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Kirkebom tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Hurt smiles and moves away.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Kirkebom's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
