Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Seth Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wasted Youth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wasted Youth has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morgan shoots for a takedown but Youth saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Youth wants to clinch.
Morgan throws a right and a left that Youth avoids nicely.
Morgan throws a series of punches but Youth moves out of range.

and Youth counters with a nice body kick.
Morgan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Youth.
Youth throws a chopping leg kick but Morgan manages to avoid taking any serious damage.

Morgan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Youth is controlling him.
Morgan can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Youth controls the pace.
Youth is pushing down on Morgan's leg trying to pass to half guard. Morgan is fighting to maintain full guard but Youth has managed to sneak the leg through.

Morgan might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Youth is trying to work for a kimura but Morgan is defending well.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Youth sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Morgan wants to get back to his feet.
Morgan is breathing heavily.
Youth is taking a breather. Morgan says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Let's hope that Youth has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

Despite being in the dominant position, Wasted Youth just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Youth throws a head kick but Morgan moves out of range.

Morgan throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.

Youth closes the distance and clinches.
Youth jumps guard but Morgan stands there with Youth around his waist. Youth gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Youth tightens his grip and picks Morgan up, before dumping him to the ground. Morgan manages to land in guard.

Youth seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Morgan could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Youth slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Morgan takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Youth lands a nice forearm strike.
The referee asks Youth politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Youth prefers to stall for the moment though.
Youth has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Youth tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Youth has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Youth sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Morgan's guard.
