The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Powel throws a nice looking combination but Afolabi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Powel shoots in but no luck this time.
Afolabi clobbers Powel with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Afolabi turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Afolabi lands a jab to the head.
Afolabi misses with the combination.
A slow jab from Powel misses its intended target.
Afolabi scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Powel doesn't seem bothered though.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Afolabi fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Powel is breathing heavily.
Powel is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Afolabi feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Powel crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
