Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between bo seagal (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steffen Goetze (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). seagal is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. bo seagal has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Goetze lands a jab-cross combination.

It looks like bo seagal has been cut.
seagal looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!

Goetze closes the distance and pushes seagal back into the cage.

Goetze successfully pulls guard.
seagal postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Goetze seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Goetze is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Goetze postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for seagal to stand up.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Goetze lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and seagal has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from seagal and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Goetze tries to bum rush seagal with a series of wild strikes but seagal uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Goetze lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for seagal!

Goetze tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.

Goetze stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.

Goetze shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Goetze in particular looking to stall.
Let's hope that Goetze has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
