The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doucet misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Doucet has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Thompson is proving hard to escape from.
Thompson lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Doucet!

It looks like Matthew Doucet has been cut.
Doucet is wriggling around trying to escape.
Thompson is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Doucet can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Thompson is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Doucet has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Thompson is looking to defend but Doucet has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Thompson! Doucet pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Thompson taps out and this one is all over!
